Cassette cash drawer with minimal space requirements

The Diebold Nixdorf KA21 cassette cash drawer is an ergonomic countertop solution which conveniently connects to nearly any POS system. The KA21 is ergonomic and compact and features a top-opening lid. As such, it takes up little space and allows easy access to the coin and banknote compartments. The coin compartments as well as a check compartment are located in the right half of the cash drawer. The left half of the cassette contains four compartments for storing banknotes in a horizontal position and features an optional protective cover.

The KA21 cash drawer consists of a cassette with a lockable lid and a base plate that is screwed onto the cash desk. The cash drawer is connected directly to the cash drawer interface of the BEETLE POS or to a POS printer with RJ12. The cassette and the base plate are connected to each other by an internal lock. During the checkout process, the lid of the cassette may only be opened via the system's software. When the cassette is removed during shift change, it acts as a safe.
