Robust Android mobile computer with a 2D scanner

The SM15 from M3 Mobile is a robust mobile computer in a smartphone look. It comes from the factory equipped with Android, upgradeable up to version 10, and stands out with its simple handling and enhanced battery operation time. Thanks to its integrated 2D barcode scanner, it especially pays for itself in incoming goods, logistics and sales. But even those who work in the field or customer service will immediately appreciate the versatile device.

Thanks to the Customer Lifetime Value programme and starting with Android 8.1, M3 garuantees periodic security patches as well as GMS and AER certification for all SM15 variants. Using a familiar and user-friendly interface the mobile computer is ideal for employees who scan large numbers of barcodes – this simplifies processes and increases productivity. In addition, the Android operating system gives department heads the ability to install a custom app selection for employees. The SM15 meets IP65 standards against dust and moisture, and it withstands falls up to 1.8 m. Its full HD display with scratch and impact-resistant Gorilla Glass is easy to use, with a pen as well as with gloves, and even with wet fingers. The SM15 is available in three versions: the SM15W features a 2.0 GHz Octa-core processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB Flash memory, plus a 13 megapixel auto-focus rear camera. The SM15N has all this plus WWAN 4G and GPS. The SM15X offers a 2.2 GHz Octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB Flash memory and two cameras: a 16 megapixel camera on the rear and a 5 megapixel camera on the front. As needed, expand the internal memory up to 128 GB via a microSD card. Other optional features include a GPS module and an RFID reader.Thanks to the long lifespan of the lithium-ion battery, users continue to use the SM15 for a wide variety of tasks without interruption, even during long shifts: scanning goods, checking availabilities, looking up order data, exchanging information and more. For emergencies, the battery is replaceable during operation (hot-swap function) without switching off the device. If necessary, an additional enhanced battery with longer battery life is available.
