Ergonomic scanner sled

The compact SKX SmartSled from KOAMTAC has been specially developed for Samsung’s robust outdoor smartphone Galaxy XCover Pro and is therefore particularly suitable for industries where work is carried out under difficult and sometimes harsh conditions. In addition to its slim design, it has all the features of a fully integrated case with a built-in barcode scanner for standard 1D and 2D barcodes – including the N6703 scan engine and a laser targeting. All data is seamlessly transferred to the XCover devices via USB OTG. The maximum scanning range is up to 800 mm.

The robust design of the SKX SmartSled is also very convincing: among other things, it is drop-proof from a height of up to 1.5 metres and fully protected against the ingress of dust in accordance with IP67 certification. It also withstands complete immersion under water for a short time. For optimal battery performance, the single-slot or five-slot charging cradles keep a Galaxy XCover Pro fully charged, with each charging cradle featuring one or five additional XCover Pro battery charging slots, respectively.
