Durable scanners for modular customisation

The KOAMTAC long-wearing KDC470 and KDC475 scanners enable users in the industry and warehousing to capture 1D/2D barcodes reliably and quickly, if required also RFID tags . Therefore, various scanner variants with a 1D laser, a 1D CCD or a 2D imager are available. The modular scanners convince with high durability: they are completely protected against the penetration of dust and water jets according to IP65 standards. Plus, they easily survive multiple falls from of up to 1.5 m.

In order to make it possible to combine almost all intelligent devices (such as a smart watch or smart glasses) with the KDC470 and KDC475 scanners, KOAMTAC has equipped them with a specially designed housing. This technically advanced, modular design allows the devices to be easily upgraded without changing the scanning characteristics.Further equipment of the scanners includes a powerful 1,130 mAh lithium-ion battery that is easily charged via the micro USB connection or via the charging station. Additionally, KOAMTAC offers an innovative charging case - so that users remain ready to go almost always and everywhere with the scanners. The memory capacity includes 64 KB RAM and 8 MB flash ROM. Interfaces include Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR (Class 2), Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 (BLE), micro USB, USB type C and serial.Both the KDC470 and KDC475 are compatible with a broad range of devices that are easily connected. Plus, many accessories are available, including an HF reader, a 0.5 and 1.0 W UHF reader, a pistol grip, a 2,000 mAh expansion battery, and an mPOS device.
