Innovative healthcare desktop printer

For sustainable healthcare label printing, Zebra presents the ZD421-HC 4" desktop printer. It is compatible with any Windows, Android or iOS device and achieves a maximum print speed of 152 mm/sec. at 203 dpi or 102 mm/sec. at 300 dpi. To ensure that it meets all healthcare requirements, its compact plastic housing is disinfectant-ready and UV-resistant, plus the key interface is sealed. Additionally, its power supply complies with IEC 60601-1 regulations for usage in healthcare facilities.

The ZD421-HC is standard equipped with 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB flash, as well as USB 2.0, a USB host, NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Optionally expand it to include Ethernet, serial, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 interfaces. The movable media sensor ensures high compatibility as well as nearly free media selection. Plus, the printer is easily operated via 3 buttons, while 5 LEDs indicate the current printer status at all times. The ZD421-HC is further supported by the comprehensive Zebra »Print DNA« tools.
