Android-based tablet-printer combination

The BIXOLON XQ-840 is a stand-alone 2-in-1 solution for label printing in retail, hospitality, manufacturing and healthcare (lab). It includes an 8" Android tablet integrated on a direct thermal desktop printer. The printer's space-saving and theft-proof design, high-performance features, efficient energy management system and easy maintenance are included.

The 4" desktop label and barcode printer supports a media roll diameter of up to 130 mm and is available in two models: XQ-840 (up to 152 mm/sec. fast at 203 dpi) and XQ-843 (up to 100 mm/sec at 300 dpi). Both models are equipped with 64 MB SDRAM and 128 MB flash and have the option of adding a field-installable auto-cutter and peeler.The integrated 8" Android tablet is equipped with a 5 MP auto-focus camera, 1 GB RAM and 8 GB flash and offers easy multi-touch operation. Interface choices include two USB host ports, Ethernet, dual-band WLAN (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 4.2 (Classic/Low Energy).
