RFID-enabled 4-inch desktop label printer

The BIXOLON XD5-40tR is a 4" thermal transfer desktop label printer for UHF RFID printing and encoding. It is equipped with USB, USB host, serial, Ethernet and optional Bluetooth or WLAN interfaces and supports dense RFID inlays up to 0.6" (16 mm). This reduces media waste and particularly pays off in industries such as transport, logistics, warehousing, healthcare and retail.

The standard model of the printer (XD5-40tR), which is also available in XD5-40tR (203 dpi) and XD5-43tR (300 dpi) versions, features fast data processing and a maximum print speed of 152 mm/sec. For added flexibility, it offers a field-installable label dispenser, auto-cutter and external and adjustable paper feed. It supports media rolls up to 127 mm in diameter and ribbons from 74 to 300 m in length. In addition, the printer's side ribbon adjustment simplifies ribbon handling, while smart media detection enables automatic detection of media with gaps, reflective marks or notches, as well as continuous media.
