Hygienic patient wristbands in no time

Being one of the most user-friendly thermal printers for wristbands on the market, the Zebra ZD510-HC is key to ensure patient safety: It makes information necessary for patient treatment and care available to everyone involved, thus effectively preventing errors in treatment. For use, it simply needs to be loaded with a cartridge containing blank, antimicrobially treated wristbands.

The wristbands are printed with 51 mm per second and at a resolution of 300 dpi, which is sharp enough to make even small type sizes readable. Healthcare being a very busy sector, Zebra made it a point to design the ZD510-HC for operation with one hand. It is equipped by default with Ethernet, USB and USB-host connectors and with Bluetooth Low Energy, plus WLAN and Bluetooth as optional connectivity. The ZD510-HC prints out wristbands for adults, children and infants, making it not only suitable for hospitals and laboratories but for the whole range of therapy and healthcare applications. This being said, it also suits event management – for example to print visitor wristbands at concerts, theme parks, sports events, etc.
