Affordable cheque and receipt printer

The Star SP298 is one of the smallest cheque and receipt printers on the market. It was conceptualised for the creation of pre-printed forms, cheques, receipts or prescriptions typically used in hotels, pharmacies, POS or hospitality.

This compact dot matrix printer creates professional receipts at a speed of 3.1 lines per second, with up to 2 copies. Its pixel-exact page positioning allows for precise completion of pre-printed form fields, with a printing width of up to 63 mm. The user simply loads the form into the side of the printer, and it positions it automatically. To further simplify its handling, you have your choice of front or rear printout, plus automatic document stapling. It also comes with a serial or parallel interface, offering you control over two cash drawers.
