Vertical presentation scanner with XP technology

The Solaris XP 7990G vertical presentation scanner made by Honeywell is based on Honeywell's field-proven XP platform. Depending on the model, it captures 1D, 2D, postal and OCR codes even in large quantities and in nearly any condition – it even processes poorly printed and damaged barcodes with ease. It also features a high scanning speed, a large field of view and a movement tolerance of up to 5 meters per second.

Depending on the requirements, the Solaris XP 7990G is available with a complete housing or as a version without an housing for integrated applications. With its compact, modern design and powerful imaging features, it is ideal for use in grocery stores, drugstores, specialty stores and liquor stores, and fits easily in existing housings at the retail POS. In addition, the Solaris XP 7990G is fully backward compatible with older Solaris models. This allows the scanner to be upgraded quickly, easily, and cost-effectively. Fast connectivity is provided by USB, keyboard wedge, RS-232, and RS-485 interfaces.
