On-counter presentation scanner for 1D and 2D barcodes

With the Magellan 3450VSi, Datalogic offers top performance for all checkout points with high throughput. It reliably and quickly reads 1D and 2D barcodes – even from smartphones and other displays. Thanks to an optional upgrade even Digimarc barcodes are captured. These barcodes consist of a watermark barcode and are therefore invisible to the human eye. In addition, Datalogic offers even more software updates, which are executed via USB or microSD card – for even better performance.

The Magellan 3450VSI is characterised by its rugged architecture, compact size and high performance. It reads barcodes even if they are shortened, damaged or badly printed - from any direction. Use it in both trigger and presentation modes. It also has an RS-232 port for peripherals and confirmation for successful scans via LED or the integrated speaker. The scanner has no moving parts, giving it a long life - and the Magellan comes with a 36-month factory warranty.
