Wide-angle imager for fixed mounting

The Honeywell HF520 is a fixed-mount, wide-angle imager with integrated USB and RS-232 interfaces – ideal for vending machines, mobile payments, self check-in and check-out. Among other things, its first-class scanning performance is due to an impressive movement tolerance of up to 1.2 m per second. Therefore, it not only captures all common 1D/2D barcodes from both printed labels and digitally from LCD or OLED displays, but also increases throughput and reduces processing times.

Additionally, the HF520 has compact housing with dimensions of a mere 41,7 x 41,7 x 32,5 mm (L x W x H) and a weight of just 55.5 grams. Its robustness is ensured by its impact resistance from a height of 1.5 m and IP40 certification. Accordingly, the imager is protected against the penetration of foreign bodies up to 1 mm in diameter. It also easily withstands operating temperatures of -10 to 50 °C and storage temperatures of -40 to 70 °C, as well as non-condensing humidity of up to 95 percent.
