The host recognition feature automatically selects the correct interface when connected. The DS4608-HC offers the appropriate feedback mode for every environment and situation: a decoder LED, programmable acoustic tone, lighting on the barcode and vibration. A programmable night mode ensures for a clear, good scan confirmation while disturbing the patient as little as possible. Another practical feature is the quick change between handheld and presentation modes. Simply put the scanner in the presentation stand for presentation mode, a handy feature when working in the pharmacy. Handheld mode automatically activates once the user picks up the scanner.
