Convertible scanner for healthcare

With its disinfectant-resistant white housing the convertible companion scanner Zebra CS60-HC is suitable for all kinds of areas of the healthcare sector. However, it not only comes in a format which fits completely simply into the trouser or smock pocket, but unites many advantages of a cordless and corded scanner in a single device. Together with the optional presentation stand, it also offers the possibility of automatically switching between presentation and handheld mode - to further reduces the spread of bacteria and germs.

The one-piece design of the CS60-HC not only withstands regular cleanings with disinfectants, but is also IP65-certified against the ingress of dust and jet water. Additionally, the scanner withstands multiple falls from up to 1.5 m.The CS60-HC is equipped with a high-resolution megapixel sensor, UDI Scan+ and Zebra's exclusive PRZM intelligent imaging technology to capture challenging, damaged or hard-to-read 1D/2D and OCR barcodes. To ensure that the user does not disturb the patient during scanning, the scanner uses an LED target point. Plus, a decoding LED, a haptic feedback and a beep tone with adjustable tone and volume are used as clear feedback for successful scanning. A special night mode with beep or vibration function can be used for night-time scanning.Thanks to the replaceable 735 mAh lithium-polymer battery, the CS60-HC remains fully charged for up to 18 hours. The special battery indicator shows at a glance what the battery charge level is - this prevents the sudden failure of the device due to a discharged battery. Additionally, it has versatile charging options and may even be charged inductively, which also ensures easy cleaning. Bluetooth 5.0 Class 1 ensures a reliable connection to the host up to 100 m away, with additional interfaces including USB, NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and a Wi-Fi-friendly mode.The CS60-HC is supported by Zebra's value-added »DataCapture DNA«, »OneCare Essential« and »OneCare Select« tools.
