Capacitive fingerprint authentication

The capacitive fingerprint reader EikonTouch 510 from HID Global makes biometric authentication as easy as it does reliable. It only requires brief contact in order to separate authorised from non-authorised people. And it does not matter if the scanned finger is dry, moist or even rough. The powerful digital ID hardware engine even make fingerprint checks directly on the device possible. Thus, the reader is equally suited for mobile and stationary security applications.

The steel housing gives the EikonTouch 510 a high degree of robustness, plus the protective coated scan window is designed for more than 4 million touches. It is fully operable between temperatures ranging from 0 to +40 °C. The reader supports numerous operating systems: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and CE, all Linux versions from Kernel 2.6, as well as all Android versions from 4.0. Depending on the requirements of the usage area, you receive the HID Global EikonTouch 510 with a cable length of 50 or 180 cm, as well as with a USB 2.0 full speed or micro USB port.
