Easy to use, secure cash drawer

The KA17 from Diebold Nixdorf is an easy-to-use, compact and environmentally friendly cash drawer which puts the focus on security. It is mounted directly under the central unit of the POS system and connected via the interface provided for the BEETLE POS family for cash collection or a POS printer with a cash interface (RJ12).

The cash compartments of the KA17 are divided into two units, one over the other. The upper unit is divided crosswise and may be slid to the rear, exposing the lower unit. The front part of the upper unit contains a removable compartment divided into eight cash boxes. The rear part contains four compartments that store banknotes lengthwise. The lower unit has enough space to store large rolls of money and coins. When the cash compartment is removed from the drawer, it functions as a safe. Up to 30 different combinations are available for locking the compartment.
