The cash drawer that fits into any checkout

Tablet POS systems and other »non-traditional« checkouts are becoming ever more popular. The Nano is APG's response to the resulting demand for space-saving cash drawers: Thanks to a compact size of 275 x 120 x 370 mm, it represents optimal usage of cash desk space. With a robust housing and ball-bearing slides – all made of steel – it has the durability it needs for the busiest checkouts. In fact, the Nano was successfully tested for more than one million opening cycles. It thus suits applications in retail and gastronomy equally well.

An integrated micro switch informs the connected POS system about the Nano's status, so that users know at a glance whether the drawer is open or closed. Coming with 8 coin and 6 banknote trays, it holds up to 290 banknotes. An additional compartment beneath the insert allows storage of coin rolls, cheques and more. For risk-free cash transport without the drawer, an optional lockable lid is available for the inserts. The Nano itself is tightly screwed to its base plate, but a special bracket is also available for under-counter installation.
