Robust, high-quality plastic drawer

This cash drawer for all POS stations is an extremely robust version that features flexible compartments and a light, but robust plastic housing. Thanks to its high-quality construction it remains just as stable and reliable years later as it does on the first day. The cash insert may be flexibly partitioned and accommodates US dollars, British pounds and other international currencies.

Depending on the set up, the cash drawer has up to ten coin and four banknote compartments, and also features a front lock. A cheque and a receipt compartment are already integrated under the coin compartments and are equipped with frontal slots. As needed, two coin compartments may be transformed into an additional banknote compartment – and the other dividers turn six coin compartments into eight. The UCD is compatible with all common standard POS systems and is easily managed with the POS software: simply connect it to your POS printer or to an external opener interface via the Epson standard interface for cash drawers. The UCD may also be opened manually via the integrated quality lock. An integrated switch checks whether it is open or closed, and sends the information to the POS system. For even smoother operation, the UCD moves on ball-bearing rails. This not only quickly opens and closes it, but it also significantly reduces signs of wear – even in heavy use, for example in high-traffic supermarkets. This allows users to enjoy long-lasting reliability while reducing downtime. If cash desks may not be opened due to a damaged drawer, it not only frustrates employees, but also buyers - especially when the lines get longer and longer. For customization, ANKER provides a wide range of accessories for the UCD, including an additional safety lock. Additionally available are an Inkiess insert for the quick counting of coins and a bowl insert for weighing. Counting coins – a time-consuming and frustrating job without tools – Is done quickly and with a low error rate. The compact cash drawer is perfect for tight workplaces, and is available in two colours (light grey and anthracite). The cash insert is particularly practical – after removing it, simply fold and lock. When locked it is not only easier and safer to transport to the cash office, it is also better stored in safes and other locked cabinets.
