Lockable, stable and tamper-proof: the poles from ANKER provide more security at the POS. This way, you effectively inhibit hidden attempts at manipulation at payment terminals, and therefore prevent theft of card data and PIN codes. Skimming – the spying on EC and credit cards for the purpose of generating card copies with the stolen data – is not only a serious problem at ATMs, but also at the POS. A common method is the secret exchange of the installed card reader for a model which saves entered payment data and forwards it to third parties – and thereby accesses the customer's account.

The poles from ANKER feature a wide variety of protection measures against manipulation, starting with their highly stable construction of galvanised, powder coated and two millimeter thick steel – completely »Made in Germany«. All elements of the stand are designed for maximum stability.Depending on individual needs, select the mountings with security level »medium« or »high«. The medium variant features a mechanically locked metal bracket, which you only open with a lot of brute force if you do not have the key. Since such an attempt costs not only a lot of time and effort, but leads to damages, this security measure makes successful (that means, undetected) manipulation practically impossible. Mountings with a »high« level are also equipped with a security lock, to keep the card reader protected against unauthorised access. The pole may not be opened without the key. The poles are mounted to the POS counter (or, as needed, to another location) and are not entirely removable. Future-proof: due to the modular construction of the poles, only the typical mounting for the terminal needs to be changed when making a terminal change – the other components remain usable.The powder-coated tube system upon which the payment terminal mountings sits is not only robust, but also practical: inside, all power and connection cables are hidden, giving the POS a tidier appearance. Plus, you also reduce the possibility of damage due to wear and tear or broken cables. Larger plugs also easily fit inside the tube and are just as protected.
