Interfaces for special applications or for replacements
All Epson TM printers (exceptions see below) have a replaceable interface board. Instead of the connections listed in the print description, printers with one of the following interfaces are also available: USB, USB with hub, powered USB, serial, parallel, dual interface (RS-232 and USB), WLAN or Ethernet. In such a case, please order the serial printer together with one of the listed interface options.
To use the printer without a power supply unit, please order the powered USB interface. Special data cables with an integrated 24 volt power supply must also be ordered.All printers may be subsequently retrofitted. The interfaces of the ColorWorks C3400, C3500, C7500 as well as TM-U950, TM-U295 and the TM-P Series are not exchangeable.
